Description
CODESYS SoftMotion Light enables easy motion control (non-synchronous single-axis movements) of CiA 402-compatible drives.
In contrast to SoftMotion Axes and SoftMotion Axis Groups/CNC Interpolators, the desired axis movement is not calculated in the control. With SoftMotion Light, the movements are simply commanded and monitored by the controller (status). The cyclic setpoint specification and the trajectory calculation take place in the drive. SoftMotion Light SL is suitable for applications with many drives to perform simple single-axis movements and for control tasks that require a low bus and computing load (CPU).

Licensing | Single device license: The license can be used on the controller on which the CODESYS runtime system is installed. The license activation takes place on a software-based license container (soft container) that is firmly tied to the controller. Alternatively, the license can be stored on a CODESYS key (USB dongle). By changing the CODESYS key, the license can be used on another controller. |
