]]>The CODESYS LicenseServer for Linux package allows you to conveniently set up a license server on a Linux-based device and load licenses onto it. The network license server can be used to centrally license CODESYS controllers across the entire network.
Deployment is carried out conveniently via the CODESYS Development System. A network-capable version of Wibu Codemeter Runtime is installed on the target system. In order to be able to use the network license server, a plug-in for Redhat Cockpit is also provided, which allows users to activate application-based licenses on the server via a browser.

The system is suitable for applications without tough real-time behaviour requirements and is also used in the building sector with the CODESYS KNX SL bookable.
The runtime system supports numerous I/O interfaces such as discrete input/output or fieldbus cards as well as integrated IEC 61131-3 protocol stacks. The fieldbuses are configured directly in the CODESYS Development System – without the use of additional tools.
